When it comes to reviews, your customers see and interact with your store on three touch points and you can fully localize their languages
- Website display widgets
- Review collection forms
- Emails
Here is a detailed guide for each touch point:
1. Website Display Widgets
Superdesk has a rich (and growing) library of display widgets and you can set the language for all of them in the "Global Settings" inside Onsite Displays section.
Step 1. On the main menu, choose "Onsite Displays" and on Global Settings, click "Customise"
Step 2. Choose the language from the list of supported languages and click save
This will change the language of the fixed texts on website display widgets. An example for French would be like this:
2. Emails
We are sending emails to your customers for various topics: Review requests, identity verification for review providers who are not already verified, incentive coupons and review reply notifications. You can easily modify the Subject and the text contents of the emails that we send. Let's start
Step 1. On the main menu, under Messages, choose Email Templates. You'll see 4 main emails that we send to your customer. Let's start with Product Review Requests template. Click Edit button
Step 2. You'll see the snapshot of the active template that is being used currently, indicated by the green light and "ACTIVE TEMPLATE" text. Hover over the template and click "Edit Template"
Step 3. You are inside our email editor. Let's start with email subject. On the right menu, in the header, click on Email Settings and change the Subject in the desired language. Hit Save button. Also change also the preview text that is a tiny summary visible on email inbox providers like gmail
Step 4. Click on the email body text. You'll see side settings panel change so that you'll be able to change all the settings for this text block. Change the text in your language and hit Save Changes.
The product name is displayed here as Sample Product only for demonstration purposes. In the actual email that you customers will receive, it will be taken from the product's name.
Step 5. Go back to email templates and edit all other 3 email templates similaryly. Some of them contain action buttons and please do not forget to change the texts inside buttons in your language too.
Now your emails are ready to be sent in the desired language.
3. Review Collection Forms
Your customers rate and review your products and store using review collection forms. Let's change all the texts on those forms so that they are in the language of your customers
Step 1. On the main menu, under Review Collection Forms, choose Form Settings. Then scroll to the bottom of the Form Settings page and click the Edit Text Content button. When clicked, all the text fields that exist on review collection form will be visible and open for editing.
Step 2. The text content for all the questions that are asked to your customers, as well as buttons on the forms can be modified on this screen. Change them all to your language and click Save
After saving changes, you can click on the Preview Form button which is at the top right area of the page to see the final version of your form with localized text content. You can iterate and fine-tune until you reach the perfection 🥰 An example form in French is demonstrated here
